Great Expectations

Yes, I have read Great Expectations by Charles Dickens within the last year, but Jeremy and I are not expecting to receive money from a rich benefactor, but we do have some other news. We are expecting to have a little bundle joy delivered to us in the middle of October. I am 14 weeks pregnant and feeling better than earlier in the pregnancy. We have been to the doctor's twice now and have heard a strong heartbeat both times. We are doing good, but as you have seen with all our other entries our lives have taken some pretty swift turns. Jeremy works now in his first professional job, which he enjoys, he is a new home buyer, a college graduate, and will be a father in a few very short months. Thank you for all of your support and prayers. We greatly appreciate it.

Our New Home

Jeremy and I have finally made the plunge. We have bought a house and plan on moving in on May 6th. We are excited about the chance and opportunity to have a place we can call our own even if it is only for a short time. We plan on living at 1535 SE Tudor street in Albany, Oregon for two to four years. I am excited for all the things we will be able to do in our house like refurbish our dining room table because we have a garage to work in. We will be able to do laundry more than once every two weeks and I won't have to do all the laundry on the same day if I don't want to. What a blessing.

Top Left: Kitchen

Bottom Left: Dining Room

Right: Hallway
(3 bedrooms & bath)

We will be painting the walls and cupboards to make it our own.

1st Birthday

My nieces turned 1 last week and it has been a milestone for the family. Here is what my brother said:
On April 3rd, 2006, almost one year ago, Hope and Faith Keller were born, underweight and unable to breathe for themselves. Caroline and I had a lot of long worrying nights back then, as our girls lay in a hospital for a month. It’s hard to believe how far they’ve come since then. We are grateful for the progress they’ve made and the strength they’ve gained in the past year. Now they are on the verge of walking, but neither of us can quite forget they started out unable to inflate their own lungs.

We celebrated their first year of life by going to OMSI. The girls had a lot of fun.

McKenzie Easter Drive

This last week has been very busy with Jeremy starting work and the two of us buying a house. We have had church meetings, house meetings and a family get together, so our time together has been precious little. So, yesterday we decided to go out for a drive following the McKenzie River. We walked through an old lava field, which was actually quite interesting (there were a million orange butterflies there). Then we went to a couple of waterfalls. There was still plenty of snow up there, which was fun to see even though we did not play in it. We still would like to go to the hot springs over there. Here are some pictures of us by the falls.
